UCSC research quoted in The Economist

Santa Cruz research on file system access patterns was mentioned in The Economist in an article on the resurgence of tape for use in long-term storage systems. Andrew Leung (Ph.D., 2009) was mentioned as the first author of a study that showed that data kept for more than several months becomes cold.
